These my first bird are Hawfinch and Black-faced bunting.
We had snow a couple days ago;
On 9th this month, these Narcissus were blooming at Iwahana-park, where is the same park I found "Varied Tit" I posted here.

Luckily, I could find these birds on the tree close to my house. And under the different weather p:-) ☀☂☃ Including two new ones for me♪

This moon shot was from last year on Dec. 29th.

ReplyDeleteOh Miyako, the narcissis are just beautiful; we used to grow them in Oregon, but they would probably not bloom until February. I love them so much. (We won't see them here in Florida at all, it is too hot!) And you are seeing some wonderful birds lately... and taking wonderful pictures. Moon too ... a fantastic post.

We watch the waxeyes (white eyes) from our kitchen window as they feed on the feijoa tree. They are pretty little birds. Just lately we have had thrushes there as well but not so many waxeyes. I enjoy watching them but it is very hard to get a photo.

ReplyDeleteHi Miyako san. Those narcissus are beautiful! It's such a treat to see blooming flowers when it's so cold. And pretty birds! I love White-eye birds. In the top right photo, the White-eye looks so round and fluffy :-)

ReplyDeleteI love the narcissus ... one of my favorite flowers! The birds are wonderful! I really enjoy seeing birds from places I probably will never visit. I'm missing out on some lovely birds. The Japanese White-eye is a lovely little bird. Well named!
