My friend told me about the movie called 'Grace of Monaco' and enjoyed together at the theater inside the mall in our city.
And then, we had lunch at the Japanese type restaurant 'locating next to the mall' called "わか竹 桜, wakatake sakura" Literally means "young bamboo cherry blossom" I should have brought camera, pictures taken by cellphone and cloudy day.
There are gate and the partition (hope the right word) with bamboo for linking to the Tex's "Good Fences" :-)
I enjoyed the movie as well, as her life seemed one of the Cinderella Stories for my age. And remembered the way she died shocked me a bit. In the movie, she wore Wonderful, Gorgeous dresses p-:) I wished to hear the long line (impressed me) at the last scene with big sound at home later. With my hearing problem not being able to hear Nicole Kidman's beautiful voice much.
I had busy days... one of them was my new PC's key board stopped functioning. Since then I've been using the old '7', Toshiba fixed the trouble and sent it back to me today (just 4days later).
Thank you very much for stopping by and I APPRECIATE your kindness.

Your lunch looks so lovely- that's something I can't say about most meals that I eat at restaurants. I haven't heard of this movie, although I do know who she was. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteHello Miyako, what a fun outing for you and your friend.. The movie sounds great and the lunch looks yummy..I always loved watching the Grace Kelly movies, what a tragic end to her life. Wonderful post and photos, have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteVery happy you enjoyed the movie, and we get to enjoy photos of your lovely day!
ReplyDeleteMiyako, your lunch looks very inviting, and certainly low in calories and fat. It's really hard to find a restaurant here that caters to that kind of fare, all hamburgers and fries! Just kidding, we do have a few good ones. Glad you had such a fun time on your "girls day out". Hugs from Texas.
