Oh, these birds pictures quality is not good, wish you wouldn't mind my posting. The bird on the first 2 pictures might be bull-headed shrike(?) I found the right name for this bird Brown-eared Bulbul. First time for me. I was SO happy to see him perching on our sasanqua tree through window last Nov.
A couple days ago, I was fascinated to see the same another kind and white eyes in my neighborhood. (Looking forward being able to post clear ones next time.)

I wished to take clear picture of the lovely yellow faced one but couldn't succeed...
Last Night, the moon was beautiful with clear orange color.
Wished to show the real color :-)

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with T above, that first bird photo is quite beautiful. It has an antique quality... it could be an old fashioned greeting card for instance.
ReplyDeleteLove those pretty pink Camellias too - just gorgeous.
I often have a laugh at our swans here with their bottoms up in the air while they graze under water on the greens. So I really enjoyed seeing your ducks ducking :D)
A lovely post and may your New Year be a very happy one too Miyako.

ReplyDeletePutting effect is a great idea when photos are blurry. I have favorite photo of Goro but unfortunately it's bit blurry. I'll try to fix it by applying some effects.

Hey, I think your bird shots are fine and so is your moon pic. I also had the moon in my post.
ReplyDeleteI think that first pic is quite stunning. I thought for a start it was out of a book or maybe off an old chocolate box.

Dearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteWell, not always we have perfect photos but as non-professionals it is still good enough to share!
Funny that you and we have the Camellia Sasanqua blooming at the same time!
Those diving ducks are always fun to watch, searching in the mud for food... Beautiful ducks.
Sending you hugs from a cold and freezing Georgia; already -5°C again at 22:55 and last night it got to -8°C.
