These floodgate and water facility are located very close to my house.
I would not have paid much attention for their function and how important they are if it were not for blogging and Tex's meme.

This flood gate is adjusting the amount of water of the small river, pumping water to the bigger river on the left. I sometimes find Egrets here.
This water facility supplies water directly to the pipes of the individual houses.
Extra pictures to add;
These flowers are from Tropical Botanical Garden in this spring. I wished to put different colors than blue p:) And the birds on wires I could catch recently.
Thank
you very much for stopping by, wishing you all are having a great week.;

ReplyDeletei love how blogging makes us look a bit closer to our surroundings and see the important role they play in our daily lives. :) something like a water plant would be something i would pass by every day without thinking too much about it. but water is such a vital part of our daily lives. :)
ReplyDeleteVery interesting to learn about your water plant facility. It is indeed benefical to those who use the water from it.
ReplyDeleteNice shots of the pretty flowers and the birds on the wires too.

ReplyDeleteWho would have thought a water purifying plant would be front and center on your (or any) meme. Great fence and I am glad it is there as it looks like you could take a tumble from up there. And tnank you for the extras ... always love birds and fences.

ReplyDeleteDearest Miyako,
ReplyDeleteQuite amazing what human beings can accomplish for distributing the water, where needed. Water means life; for growing crops and for keeping people, animals and plants, shrubs, trees alive...
Lovely photos from the botanical garden. Love the white bougainvillea too and of course your birds!
Hugs,
Mariette
Hello dear Miyako
ReplyDeleteLovely to meet up with you at Good Fences!
Great photos of the fences surround the water facility.
Your shots of the birds on the wire are cute!
Wishing you a happy weekend.
Hugs
Shane
Your birds on the wire are cute and like everyone else I think the white flowers are lovely. We visited a water museum while we were in Japan and it was quite intriguing - the blue and white fences of the water facility are very pretty and make a functional place attractive.
