Sweet flag (Acorus calamus) and Heron;

t       The other day, my driver husband had time to take me our city park;
I DID have a big luck finding a wild heron there   I couldn't wait to show you pictures I took; These Sweet flag (Acorus calamus) and Iris reminds us Japanese that the rainy season is around the corner. And they were my late mother's favorite flower:)

I was so happy that this sweet Heron appeared for me♡♡♡
I wished to take the shots that he flew away, but just ready to take off one;

Pond spread in front of the old Gazebo;

  10. Hello Miyako, they are such delicate colours of Iris and Flags - how lovely for you to see so many, especially when they hold dear memories for you.
    I've never photographed a Heron and so it is always exciting when I see them in other blogs and yours is no exception. A chance meeting and he stayed long enough for you :D)

  20. I too love the Iris, it is a lovely flower. And that shot of the blue heron is great. When I was young blue herons nested in one of the trees in the park where we went to play, we would look for them arriving every season.
    Thanks for sharing.

  32. I haven't heard these flowers called flags in ages. My mom and mother in law called them flags. And your images are stunning!!! A big plus is to have a heron strolling through to add to the beauty of it all.

    Thanks so much for linking up this weekend.
