For coming mother's day;

Dear Mom;
Are you doing fine with my brother up there. I cannot believe 13 years has passed and 3 years since your beloved son chose to be with you. I feel lucky having been born as your daughter and you had been a wonderful role model for me. Your warm words of tenderly shared my sorrow with me when I had to stop fertility treatment were still deep in my mind after 30 years. And I was happy to see you looked delighted that I could start teaching English at home after that. Children tend to learn slow your parents are always on your side p;)
Please let dad with me for a while and stare down from heaven for him. My visiting him still seems a bit of stimulation for his mental state.

*Mother's Hand
Dear gentle hands have stroked my hair
And cooled my brow,
Soft hands that pressed me close
And seemed to know somehow
Those fleeting moods and erring thoughts
That cloud me day,
Which quickly melt beneath their suffrage
And pass away.

No other balm for earthly pain
Is half so sure,
No sweet caress as filled with love
Nor half so pure.
No other sould so close akin that understands,
No touch that brings such perfect peas as Mother's hands.
-- W. Dayton Wedgefarth

Your hands which taught me many things while brought up were so precious. Still wish to stand in the kitchen together.

Thank you very much for stopping by, I'm expecting busy weekend. Wishing you all have a wonderful Mother's Day Sunday and see you next week;

I can imagine how supportive your mum would have been to you when you were having your fertility treatment. It's never the same when they're gone, is it? Sending you love and hugs my friend x

  14. Dear Miyako, that is such a beautiful tribute to your dear mother. She was a wise woman...there to comfort you when you needed it and letting you be independent when you could! A perfect mother. I am so glad that you are there to comfort your father and show him how much he means to you.

    A wonderful post for Mother's Day (and wonderful even though I am a day late...of course it would a beautiful post to read any day -- every day!)
