Delicious Gift and Teacup♪

Yesterday, my young pretty ex-student brought me hand-made bread again. She was carrying a big basket full of them. Ha-ha, not all of them were for us. She came after her baking lesson around three in the afternoon, so we enjoyed early snack time to the fullest. I had them with green tea, which as you can see kind of brewed strongly. Even if I'm a Japanese, this might be an odd mixture.
cinnamon roll, cheese buns, raisin buns, they were all SO soft and tasty.

Hope you all have a nice week.

  3. Dearest Orchid,

There are two things: you must have earned quite some credit for being an awsome teacher if they treat you like this! Wow, that is a royal treatment for any person. You certainly got spoiled there and they look so picture-perfect like magazine material. That young student is a talented young lady!

Would love to sip a cup of green tea with you and try one of those breads...

    Lots of love,

    Mariette

  16. Dearest Orchid,

As to your remark: 'Although i couldn't understand what you said that they were photos from a PPS you received and you made a Screenshot, you can enjoy them in your garden!!!'
A PPS is a Power Point Slideshow that people do send around as email attachment. So I took those birds from there, with a Screenshot, a program that is on my PC. So now you know! It is one of the hardest things to understand those thousands of abbreviations here in the US. After nearly 28 years, even we don't know what certain words mean. I have to look it up or figure out by reading the rest of the story.
    That's life!

    Lots of love,

    Mariette

  17. Yum!! I feel hungry now LOL! How thoughtful of your student, I can tell you must have been a treasured teacher. Like most people I remember how much inspiration is gained as a student from someone who is a dedicated teacher who loves their chosen vocation :)
