My parents had their own business and sold so many Citizen watches they were invited to Japan twice in the 70´s.<br />I still have the "umbrella" he gave me, the kimono surely does not exist anymore, but I had to walk to school as a "Geisha" for Carnival in it. As it was a real kimono it took me ages, thank you for the memories and Merry Christmas to you.Iris Flaviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11147576380055530230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8639768542553618012.post-5636077548159404482019-12-17T19:21:27.948+09:002019-12-17T19:21:27.948+09:00Cute!Cute!Pieni Lintuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01843395016232522531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8639768542553618012.post-6744629932623601682019-12-17T15:21:24.788+09:002019-12-17T15:21:24.788+09:00Japanese gardens are so peaceful and beautiful. Tree in front of our house had to be cut down one year as it was interfering with the utility line. I was so sad! I hope a new tree is planted somewhere else. I admire the pruning that gives many of the trees such intricate shapes. I share your sadness about the tree that will be cut down - your bird photos are one of the things that I always enjoy about your posts!
