Lantern Festival and Japanese Pheasant;

(Sorry, header’s changed for the newer post;)
Lantern Festival
My husband's friend told me about the festival at her city.  Her city has a sister city relationship with a city in Taiwan. We expected rain on that day. It was drizzling when we reached the event site, but it started raining hard (^^;)
Cluster Amaryllis; Japanese name is Equinox Flower '彼岸花'.Season for this flower♪
           You can see the blurrlanterns in the back. I just found a couple of flowers .
Sculptures decorated at the event site;

Lanterns before and after Lighting;

Lighting ceremony;

Dancing of the dragons;

*Male Japanese Pheasant*
My neighbor 'who knows about my picture taking hobby for blog' kindly came to tell me this Japanese National bird looked just enjoying relaxing time alone.

I loved this back shot of his ;-)

So sorry that I didn't know that video is only taken horizontally.
I tried to fix it by using downloaded free soft, not succeeded(^^;)
But I was happy to see the video was taken clearly.

This was not my first luck, I thought there must be a nest near by♪
He was up on the fence near my house.

I hope you are having a wonderful new week.
Hope to visit you soon!

    PS
    Somehow your lantern festival photos don't open. Maybe it's a temporary issue, but I thought to mention it. Have a great day Miyako!
