Narcissus and Birds;

*Narcissus from neighboring park*
On 9th this month, these Narcissus were blooming at Iwahana-park, where is the same park I found "Varied Tit"  I posted here.

You can see the fence beside the railroad :-)

*Winter birds under the different weather*
Luckily, I could find these birds on the tree close to my house.  And under the different weather p:-) ☀☂☃     Including two new ones for me♪

Japanese White-eye enjoying lunch acrobatically;

     Dusky thrush under the different weather, different day;

                      These my first bird are Hawfinch and Black-faced bunting.
                                    We had snow a couple days ago;

I found them on this tree and under it. This picture is taken on a cloydy day.

This moon shot was from last year on Dec. 29th.

  5. Oh Miyako, the narcissis are just beautiful; we used to grow them in Oregon, but they would probably not bloom until February. I love them so much. (We won't see them here in Florida at all, it is too hot!) And you are seeing some wonderful birds lately... and taking wonderful pictures. Moon too ... a fantastic post.

  8. We watch the waxeyes (white eyes) from our kitchen window as they feed on the feijoa tree. They are pretty little birds. Just lately we have had thrushes there as well but not so many waxeyes. I enjoy watching them but it is very hard to get a photo.
    The weather must be warming up a bit for you to have the narcissus out in flower.

    Greetings from New Zealand,
