Flowers from the Airport in our city;

              *Roses and other Flowers from the Airport*        (Visited;  June. 4th)
        These wavy eaves (hope the right word) are the trademark of the airport♪
And I hope that can be considered as a kind of fence :-)

            Other Flowers some of whose name I don't know (^^;)

Silly me first realized that there is this sculpture of "Milestone-Pigeon". I thought it can be considered as the "guardian angel" for the safety of the flight.
(Sad that I couldn't take from the front because of the back-light)

See you around weekend here and hoping to be able to concentrate visiting you.
Thank you very much for stopping by; I always appreciate your sweet visits;

  5. Wow, the airport is full of blossoms! The place is so beautiful. I love the wavy eaves. They sort of give me relaxation and gentle impression :-) There are some unique looking flowers you've captured. Maybe someone here can tell you what they are. The sculpture of pigeons is very pretty. I agree, they may be the guardian angel for safe flight.
    Happy Monday, Miyako san. Have a lovely new week!

  7. This is a fabulous planting of flowers for an airport, very nicely landscaped.
    The wavy things add interest and shade, I'm not sure what you would call them either. :-)
    Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Miyako.

  8. Your city had amazing gardens! Even at the Airport. I love that they take time to make everything pretty. So lovely. The top two flowers in the collage are Bachelor Buttons ( the blue ones) and a hydrangea. I don't know the two on the bottom. The roses are so beautiful and you arranged them beautifully ( in the mosaic).

  9. Your airport has such lovely roses and flower gardens. The ruffly pigeon sculptures are cute too. The 4 plants, the bottom row are foxgloves, and Spanish lavender, Lavandula stoechas. Hugs from the PNW, dearest Miyako!

  16. Wonderful blooms on the Airport! Fantastic captures.... I found your blog on Todays Flowers. By the way, I think the name of the Blue bloom in the first pickt is called here Kornblumenblau, the second is a Hortensie, the third is a Fingerhut (be careful with this plant) and the last is Lavendula ....

    Cheers, Heidrun from old town Augsburg

  19. Dearest Miyako,
    Lovely airport you got and I can tell that your region is as fertile for growing plants, shrubs and trees as is my birth country The Netherlands. Things look so happy and beautiful.
