Flowers, Birds and Lunch at Cousin's house;

I've visited my cousin's house on 14th to celebrate her son's marriage at the end of this month. And then on our way home, checked the flowers in our city park :-)
(So sorry the long post. Pictures in the frames are mine.)

*Water Lilly and Rhododendron*
As you can see, Water Lilly were not in full bloom. So I tried most of my pictures with zoom.  Rhododendron's were at their best then♪

*Birds*
I was really happy to be able to take decent pictures of the sparrows for the first time. And White Clover's are adding a bit of accent, I hope p:-)

*Home Made Lunch*
My cousin kindly prepared really gorgeous lunch with both sashimi and stake for us♪ And she also has a wonderful talent arranging her cooking.

    This was a lovely post with great photos and that lunch at your cousin's place was quite a treat.
    Both of us are also extremely busy, can't get it all done and sometimes I cannot visit any blogs...

  14. What a nice post. I had the good fortune to stay with a family in Japan during a school tour - the food was wonderful. The pictures of the home made lunch made me remember it!

  16. The water lilies are so beautiful, Dearest Miyako, and I like the stones stacked so artistically. The peonies are gorgeous too, mine are starting to bloom. The food looks so tempting, and served so beautifully, like an art form.

  21. Oh Miyako what a beautiful post. The water lilies are lovely (they look perfect to me). And the sparrows in the white flowers are so sweet. I also love how you put the heart around the pretty dove -- really made me smile.

    I looked for a long time at your lunch pictures. Your cousin does have a talent for arranging food beautifully. We have noticed how lovely the plates look in Japanese Restaurants (which we love to patronize when we are lucky enough to find one). I have read the saying 'we eat with our eyes' and it is true that if the food looks beautiful, it is such a wonderful experience. (Of course eating it is even better ;>)!)

  24. Hello Miyako. I hope your husband is feeling better now if he wasn't. Beautiful flowers to see and I see you have the cute house sparrows too as we have here.. Oh my.. that lunch is beautiful, a real work of art. Eating it must be such a treat after you get to see such pretty arrangements of food. We should do that more here in the US. I guess some people do, but mostly everyone is in such a hurry.. We should take the time and enjoy.. Michelle
