April.7th Drive (Weeping Cherry)

Without planing, we decided to visit "Nanbara-Temple" (←link to the same temple of my blog post) to enjoy Weeping Cherry today (it's yesterday because it's past 1:00 :-)
Would you bear with me more cherry post.   As I saw many trees of weeping cherry at last fall's visit, looking forward to enjoying the late blooming cherry here. I wish you can feel the different atmosphere from the same place.

Main Hall of this Buddhist temple.

A crew from the local Cable TV was taking video
My husband who was admiring the flowers, luckily met the chief priest,
without knowing it I took a picture a bit from above.
Statue of the Goddess of Kannon with thirty three little others. As I knew this Kannon especially have power for avoiding to get senile. I bought charms for us again :-)
Guardian deity of children

I spotted the alpine rose at the back of the hall.

*White flower cherry tree with Wooden Fence*
Alongside the path to go up the temple.

*'all-you-can-eat' type restaurant and stores*
Found lots of swallows flying around outside of this place. So sad leaving without good photos...

Linking this post to  "Outdoor Wednesday", "NF Trees n Bushes", "Good Fences",
"Wednesday Around the World", "Floral Friday Foto", "Scenic Weekends"

I have had several things require my attention lately.
*After I had an incident which made me feel needing digital hearing-aid (my old one was analog and hasn't been using) I bought one checking through PC.   *New community duties   *Had to find out the Children's English language proficiency test's past exam and workbook (for elementary school level and I've been helping for the older students, not for the test little one take)
I'll catch up with you soon as my next post will be weekend :-)  So sorry for the absence...

Swallows are very cute. They kind of remind me of penguins :-)

Dearest Miyako,
What a lovely weeping cherries you show us here. Also the swallow photos, especially the one with its wings up.
Hope you got a great new hearing aid. Do they check it via computer program for exact adjusting? It is so important that it gets fine-tuned correctly for best benefit to you.
Wishing you well and hope your charms will guard you both.
What a lovely Rhododendron you captured!
Hugs and love to my Japanese friend.

Wonderful post, Miyako! Unfortunately your link does not work on my blog page and I took a rather roundabout route to get here. It was well worth it, though...
Many thanks for participating in Floral Friday Fotos, I look forward to your contribution in this week's edition!
