Waiting for Spring;

Lady keyboard player of the band my husband involved kindly sent me three pictures of plum tree and camellia.  She knew about my blog and must have thought I could make use of these flower with rare snow (in our area) pictures. The snow fall this morning was quite a change of weather as it seemed spring was around the corner...

Until late Thursday this week, I'm away from PC attending relative's funeral.  I wished to let you know and the pictures I had this morning fit the post.
I've seen lots of snow in my friend's posts.  Wishing Spring to come soon☆☆☆   I feel so bad about my sporadic vising friends recently...
I always thankful for your kindness.

  4. Hello Miyako, I am sorry about your loss of a relative.

    So these are actually plum blossoms right? Do they all look the same as cherry and peach blossoms? What flowering tree is "sakura" exactly. I am sorry for my ignorance of such a trivial thing but I'd be happy to hear from you. Thanks in advance :)

    Greetings from Russia with Love. :)

  5. Oh goodness, they are most lovely and I live in a winter-wonderland. But spring has arrived here, for now and I'm hoping it stays without any more winter visits to ruin our spring adventures!

  6. Don't ever feel bad when you can't visit or comment Miyako. WE all have times when we just don't have the time. I often get behind or have to skip a few posts even for my favorite bloggers.

    You can't let blogging interfere with your real life! ;>)

  8. How nice of lady band member to send you such beautiful pictures! I feel sorry for the flowers (I bet they didn't expect snow!) but the combination of pretty colors of flowers and white snow is very lovely! I hope the snow will melt away soon.

    I'm sorry to hear about your relative's passing. Please have a safe trip to attend the funeral.

  11. Dearest Miyako,
    Gorgeous photos you received and it is amazing that much snow! The Camellia can handle frost and/or snow I guess but I'm not so sure about about the plum blossoms. Let's hope the best!
    Striking though those dark pink buds with the snow on top.
    Sending you hugs and sorry for the death of your relative...

  17. Hello Miyako, I'm also waiting for spring. Our cherry blossoms are going to bloom late because we got a lot of snow in March.
