English Garden;

*Art Works from "Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew" (link to the home page)*
This Botanic Gardens(link to the picture page) was built in 1759 and illustrate significant periods of the art of gardens from the 18th to the 20th centuries. At the museum in my Pref. an hour away from home, there's the exhibition going on. My first experience to see these kind of great art works from England.
Unfortunately, taking pictures were prohibited except the signboard at the exit.
            Enjoyed a wonderful artistic day from England♪♪♪

*Signboard, ticket and two postcards pictures among which I bought*

Wreath at the back entrance;

*Slope to the entrance and the decoration for Tex's meme*
Loved to see this mini garden and the flags of two countries

I'll try my best to visit you till then. Hope you are having a wonderful week;
See You Soon, Dear friends ♡♡♡

  2. I'm smiling at you because I came over to get my Japanese fix as our 3 lovely Japanese guests have now returned home, only to find you are in my homeland :) :) I did enjoy the calligraphy exhibition and dance recital as well!

  5. How interesting to see an English-style garden in Japan. Here in Canada many gardeners love Japanese-style gardens as well as English-style ones. :))

  7. There are a few places where I go that won't allow picture taking either, for a number of reasons. But you certainly got quite a collection of worthy and beautiful photos to share with us today!

  8. Beautiful photos, as always, Miyako. The English garden theme always has such lovely and delicate flowers among white backgrounds. I had a friend who once had a tea room called the English Garden, and it was delightful. Hugs from Texas.

  11. To Dearest Tamago-san;
    Thank you SO much for your comment. The third flag is the '下関市 shimonoseki' city flag. As it is the city- museum, I guessed it so, but I confirmed it with pc page.

    My husband said it looks like fish-bone p:)
    Loveand Hugs Miyako,
