At Woodworking Shop and a Critter;

 (posted; Japanese culture page)
There was an exhibition and sale last year at a woodworking shop. I missed posting this event last year. Please just have fun with woodworks and other Japanese art works.
(sorry for the long post for several links)

The store's name is 'komoregi, 木洩木'
Entrance after going up the stone fence.  There were special outside stores then.

*Art works inside of the store*
For children. Loved the little kitchen♪
Sheep which is this year's zodiac sign (mine as well)
My friends might remember the one I bought -:)
Lots of works with Japanese atmosphere.
And for the last Luck Bringing Owl  'fukuro・フクロー'
I wrote about why owls are lucky animal here with sweet video.

*Neighbor's dog was walking*
She (maybe from the wear) was walking the other day when I was out beside my house's fence. Very lovely but wished go home not letting me touch her p:-)
Mom go home, I'm getting hungry...

  17. Hello Miyako, it was really beaut to see all the woodwork - the animals and those sweet little rocking horses and, yes, that kitchen. My husband made a little wooden stove for our granddaughters when they were little. The loved it so much. Happy memories:D)

The stone fences at the woodwork shop are beautiful - so much skill goes into them.

I smiled at the dog in its coat... I think I see a pocket on the coat - lol, to carry a spare bone or treat perhaps?

A lovely post, and cheerio for now :D)

  18. Good evening Miyako! I really like the woodworking shop. (My husband used to teach woodworking and other shop classes so it is an interest of ours.)

The sheep are my favorites but I love the owls too.

That is quite the little princess (or prince?) of a dog -- all dressed up with its own little coat. Sweet.

  27. I saw many things in your wood shop that I would have loved to bring home ... especially the owls. I went to your owl post and loved it. I work with rehabilitated owls that have been injured and can't be released to the wild. They are wonderful birds and have brought much good fortune to my life. Can't leave without saying something about your sweet little dog with the pink coat ... what fun you have. Love it all :)
