Japanese Pheasant;

     *My first encounter with Japanese Pheasant*
After we enjoyed the concert of next city's Brass Band, we stopped nearby hotel lounge to have a drink with our acceptances who went together. From the window, I could see a bird walking. I thought it didn't look like a pigeon. I excused the table and went out; wow, it's a pheasant!!! It is our national bird; I'd believed it would be crane till I grew up :)  Luckily he didn't get so scared and just trying to keep a distance from me.

Thank you for showing up for me; what a lucky day ♡♡♡

He didn't fly away. We were doing chasing game, circling around the tree.

"How long do you want to chase me with strange thing in your hand?"

"OK, you seem to have lots of fun with me, Bye Now strange lady"
She just walked away slowly staring at me p;)

Thank you very much for stopping by; See you around Friday

He's very handsome! He looks like our pheasant, but the colours are a little different. Our pheasant is brown all over.

A very beautiful bird and darker colored than our Pheasants.

What a beautiful bird! Looks quite different to the Ring-necked variety I saw in the UK. How fortunate that he seemed to enjoy having his picture taken!

What a beautiful bird! He posed for you nicely even if he did wonder what you were doing )))

I hope you don't mind me making so many comments all at once -- I am catching up. While traveling we don't always have a good internet connection.

We are still traveling in Alaska. The ferry boat ride was six days and now we are camping in our van for several weeks.
