Two Brides♡♡♡

I'd like to introduce two Japanese brides who approved me to post in my blog♡♡♡
Although we didn't attend the ceremonies, I'm really happy to be able to have a chance to share pictures of two lovely Japanese brides with my friends.
Nowadays not all the brides, but almost all the brides used to wear white kimono called "白無垢;shiromuku”.  You'll also love to see the link of the picture page.

*My cousin's daughter*
She married this 15th. I went to see the pictures to my cousin's house and enjoyed chatting with my two cousins. They also prepared birthday surprise for me. I had a great time with my two cousins♡♡

The candy rings with rose design on top of the cake was made by the sister of the bride.
Maybe, my friends remember my post here about her efforts for her big sister(*^_^*)   They are pointing the rings; really sweet scene

*My husband's lady ex-colleague*
Last month, she came to our house to pick up the wedding present my husband prepared for her and had soba lunch he made. She gave me the pictures of fitting session. As you can see, she chose the Japanese-inspired dress  She happened to get married 15th of this month. Her wedding ceremony was held bit away from where we live.

I hope you enjoyed the lovely Japanese new brides' pictures♬♬♬
Happy Autumnal Equinox Day to all of you♪♪♪

  7. Dearest Miyako,
Lovely brides (and grooms!) in their traditional Japanese silk brocade (I just assume by looking at it, as I remember from my fashion design study time). The pictures on that site did not load very fast but the one head cover looked very different, like an egg warmer almost.
Your husband's former lady colleague looks stunning in that silk brocade gown and she is so elegant almost looking like a Barbie doll. They all would qualify for Singapore Girl as stewardess!
When I studied fashion I learned that the Japanese silk and the Italian silk is the best quality in the world.
Hugs to you sweet friend and thanks for sharing this. You are most generous for thinking about doing this!

  8. My dear Miyako - What absolutely wonderful photos for us to look at today. I just adore weddings - everyone is so happy! That second bride's Japanese dress is absolutely beautiful, and so different to what we are used to seeing here in the West. How lovely that she chose a Japanese style wedding dress. The very first photo is just divine! What a beautiful bride - what a gorgeous dress! I'm running out of words to describe the beauty of it all! I just love outfits in the second photo. They both look so young and a little bit nervous! Bless! Thank you for sharing these special events with us today, and I'm glad you had a lovely time with your cousins.
