Flying Kite♪

(posted; Japanese culture page)
First of all, thank you very much for your heartwarming comments.  I felt so privileged to have sweet friends through blogging. I still am having a bit headache and runny nose but slowly recovering p;)

*Quick post of flying kite*
My next neighbor's two children flew kites this new year♡♡♡
One is the dragon design their father made for last year (last year was the dragon year). The other is the work using the calligraphy kit done by 2nd year of elementary boy. The letter means "snake, へび” written in hiragana character. He is learning calligraphy from a teacher living close to us who happened to be my old student.

I hope you are having wonderful head start of new year♬♬♬

Miyako,
so sorry to hear you have not been feeling well, and hope you are soon back to 100% health. I love seeing kites flying, and remember how we used to make our own kites when we were small. Such fun - thanks for bringing back those lovely memories.

Hi Miyako San, I'm sorry you are still not well, but glad you are heading for recovery. I hope you get well very soon. These kites are beautiful! It's been ages since I flew kite...I was a little child :-) My hometown is in Gunma and we have very strong wind in winter (karakkaze.) So kite flew very well and it was fun. I hope you see many kites in the air!

The last time I saw someone flying a kite it was at the beach. There is a kite shop there that sells the most wonderful kites.
I am happy to hear you are feeling better. Have a lovely weekend my little sister. Much love always.

I am so happy to hear that you are feeling a little better. Don't overdue it sweetie. You still need rest.

I love those images and the children look like they are having such a good time. Both kites are simply beautiful. My birthday falls in the year of the snake. ;-) Have a wonderful week my dear friend, Mina
