Red Dragonfly (nursery rhyme)

It is me posting tonight, I just couldn't resist...
When I was coming home from my parent's house (empty house) preparing for memorial service (cleaning and weeding), I saw a group of dragonfly were hovering. I was kind of in tears, which made my hubby a bit surprised not knowing the reason. When I was little, my late bro and I share the memory seeing the sky full of  these red-colored dragonflies. We could see them on our way back from company communal bathhouse. And sang the song below.  I felt like he is thanking me for my work today, haha.

I remembered I had a dragonfly design scrapbook. I wish to add that I know I may be overusing free scrapbooks and illustrations. I myself realized it is kind of turned out too much. Well, I was thinking to ask everyone understanding for my girlish taste. Thank you very much for stopping by.  I'll promise "never say when", haha.

I'll paste the nursery rhyme

Japanese version we used to sing together

found the English version

What a beautiful dragonfly and sweet memories!

I remember when I was a child, I lifted my index finger in the air and let a gragonfly perch on it.
The song is very natsukashii! I didn't know there was English version made.
I believe your brother sent the group of dragonfly to you :-)

It is always such a pleasure to visit your blog dear Miyako. It always looks so pretty, and what a lovely story you told for us today, even though the memories made you tearful. Of course they would, thinking of your dear brother no longer with you. Pretty dragonflies and, yes, I agree, your brother definitely WAS sending you a message.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my post today, and I'm glad all those handsome actors brought back all those memories for you!

Take care dear friend. Hugs & Love from Diane. (thisisme).

Oh sweet Miyako, of course he was showing his appreciation for all you have done and do everyday. All the times you think of him and speak of him. He remains forever alive in your spirit.

You never overuse anything! And, I LOVE your "girly" style. ;-) Hugs forever, Mina
