Mother's Day

Hi, Mom♡♡♡

How are you doing up there?
Hope your son, my bro is with you and being peaceful together.
How come you took him so early to your place last year ? You don't know how much you made me cry.

I don't think I  used to be this sentimental until God took you, and made me realize how much you meant to me.  And especially after bro had gone being with you, tiny bits of unhappy things easily bring tears to my eyes.
Anyways, don't worry about me. Your son-in-law is really supportive and his comforting words help me manage to live kind of trying life down here.
Please watch over me and all the people, especially who are suffering.

  2. Oh Orchid, I sympathize with you. I lost my Mom 9 years ago. I am single and have no family left, but thank God I have the support of really wonderful friends who are like family to me. This holiday is so bittersweet. Yes, we have our memories, but life is for the living. xo,

  3. Dearest Orchid,

What a lovely post... so well phrased from the depth of your soul. Well, my Mom is still alive but I cannot visit her as she is 7,000 km away from me. We did however visit her 63 times over 28 years. You have now someone watching from heaven down, over you... Hard to imagine for us yet but one day we will hug each other tight again. Then I finally get to hug my elder sister who was still born and whose name I have now... She too was named Mariet so that's why I added another 'te' to live for her as well. A life she never had a chance to. Many puzzles for us here on earth but we should enjoy the many details around us, the beauty of nature, the kindness of so many other people whom we meet on our journey.

Lots of love Orchid and wishing you a Happy Mother's Day!

    Mariette

  5. Thank you for visiting my blog and for your comment. I look forward to exploring your blog as well! It's Mother's Day here in the United States. My adult children live in different cities, but I was able to speak with them by phone this morning...a wonderful start to my day!
